Believing that I am an artist has been a journey my whole life. I have spent my life jumping into all different mediums of art. Oil paint, pastel, water color, and then digital art. I love to create. Then 2020 happened. I had a goal to go to the temple every month that year. Then all the temples closed. I felt defeated and a little lost like most of us. I found the comfort of the temple again by drawing temples. You may ask why I don't fill in the rest of the piece around the temple. Well my purpose in not finishing it and leaving it white is so that the viewer focuses on the one thing in that painting that is important. It's simple just like the gospel. You don't need all the fluff, it's not complicated, this is what is important. As an artist, I always want to capture core memories and turn them into art.
