Sometimes I catch myself saying things like, \"I need to recharge\" or \"I''m going to crash\" as if I were a computer or a machine. But, especially with the new AI technologies, I am realizing how I am not good at the same things machines are good at, nor do I really want to be. In my quest to find metaphors that feel good and life affirming, I am exploring ones that relate my experiences to nature. Trees that grow and sway slowly. Trees that have a season of growth leading into a season of harvest followed by shedding their leaves and entering a season of dormancy. Trees and plants that thrive in community.\r\n\r\nPart of the original show \"Finding Peace\" by Lovetta Reyes-Cairo October 2026 at Havenlight Gallery, Orem Utah.\r\n\r\nOriginal artwork of Oil on Canvas 12\" x 24\".
