The story of Lazarus is one of my favorites. The pain and the joy that was felt by everyone. It moves me every time. I have wanted to paint Lazarus for so so long and I absolutely LOVE how this one turned out. I love how he is stepping out of the darkness to light with his cloth in his hand offering it up to the Savior. (Or in other words, giving his life to the Savior.) To me this painting represents Christ''s invitation to all of us to step out of the darkness, offer up our lives to Him, and trust His lead. The Savior is our light. He is our Hope. He is way through this life. Original artwork of Watercolor on Paper 8.5” x 6”. Painted 2024.
