I was working on this painting at an art show, amid many other artists. It was such a great bonus to get feedback on the painting from some of them, and it truly helped make it better. There was a collective energy from the people around me, and I feel like the flowers have a collective energy of their own, with all their variety.

For over 20 years, Cortney Lunt has been a full time mom and a part time artist. Family has always been her main priority, and continues to be so, but she is finding more time for her art as her family is growing up. Art, family, and spirituality have always been interconnected for her. She loves to paint anything that brings joy.
