12 X 9 Oil
This was painted from a location on the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River right off the west side of the Plano Bridge near Warm Slue, west of Rexburg. It was fairly early in the morning with the cold blue water giving me an inner feeling of refreshment. Refraining from the strong temptation of putting a vertical shape on the bottom right edge to keep the viewer in the painting, I thus allowed the water to create the illusion and sensation of continuously moving.
