This painting is about the moment after Eve decided to partake of the fruit. She had a seeming impossible choice. To come down from that tree into mortality, having to go tell Adam of what she chose. Wondering, had she been beguiled? All for knowledge, all for us, all through Christ.

Jenna Conlin is a painter interested in depicting what it means to be a modern-day disciple. She is especially interested in the intersection of abstraction and realism. She feels she can best portray spiritual experiences where these visual languages meet. Her paintings do not aim to provide definitive answers but rather explore questions and experiences. Jenna currently lives and works in Louisiana with her husband and baby boy's.
