Minerva was known to present a painted set of flowers to friends, relatives, and neighbors as reminders of significant events in their lives. They are often referred to as “wedding” and “funeral” flowers.
These roses are a little different as they are created from oil paint on paper, something just a little different than the watercolor on paper norm.
