With a belief the spirit of her work carries messages directly to each viewer’s heart, in a language only art can speak, Katie carefully strives to paint by the Spirit of God. You may have seen her work at past IAA shows, the Zions Bank Art Show, and the Certain Women Show at Anthony’s Fine Art & Antiques. She was the recipient of the 2021 IAA People’s Choice award. As a mother of 7 children, Katie is constantly balancing her work as a mother with her calling as an artist. She describes painting as a spiritual experience that gives her frequent opportunities to be still, appreciate the beauty of this world, and reconnect with her Heavenly Parents. She hopes her art helps others do the same.
