My first two children died as babies and even now, years later, I find a lot of solace in painting a mother and baby. The blues in this piece, the tender pose, and soft give this artwork a somber and calm feeling.

Lovetta Reyes-Cairo is an artist and mother working from her home studio in Utah. Her work often includes the human figure and explores ideas of motherhood, spirituality, and love.

A shipping time requested as "2-Day Priority Mail" refers to the shipment time once the item has shipped and does not include any assembly window. We pride ourselves on our efficient and timely system, but the complexity of an order will impact delivery. Orders to Hawaii may take 3-4 weeks to arrive via USPS.
