Pillar of Fire to Give Them Light

When I saw the image of these amazing clouds rising up over the Manti Temple it reminded me of a pillar of fire like that spoken of in Exodus 13:21. I thought, what that might have looked like to the children of Israel and a painting like this might help inspire others to see the parallels between that pillar of fire and the light that is given to us through temples in these latter days.

I live in Provo with my amazing wife and two children. We recently moved back to Utah after living several years in Virginia and Texas for school and then work. We loved each place for both the beautiful places they are and wonder people we came to know. We are so grateful to be able to live close to family and the mountains again.
