Redeemer of The World

Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the World. This piece is my attempt to capture the essence of the weight and the magnificence of that responsibility. I imagine that even He, God of this World, felt the need to look to heaven for help and guidance at times. Knowing that He also sought higher guidance opens the way for me to do the same.

Award winning artist, Amy Brailsford (1982- ) didn’t always recognize she had a knack for oil painting. In fact, it wasn’t until she was pregnant with her 5th child that she had the opportunity to try the medium. She grew up in Idaho with very minimal chances to experience art. Despite starting “late in the game,” her passion for painting led her to tirelessly seek out training where-ever she could. Her education spans a decade of understudy with acclaimed professional artists and she continually strives to seek more knowledge in her mission to master the craft. Although she enjoys painting all subjects, she specializes in portraiture. When she’s not painting, she is likely found at home with her family. Amy resides in Saratoga Springs, Utah, with her husband and six children.

Many of the items on our site are custom made or built to order, especially framed items. A shipping time requested as "2-Day Priority Mail" refers to the shipment time once the item has shipped and does not include any assembly window. We pride ourselves on our efficient and timely system, but the complexity of an order will impact delivery. Orders to Hawaii may take 3-4 weeks to arrive via USPS.
