An avid hands-on creator in many specialties, Debra resides in Boise, Idaho with her husband, John, a gynecologist. They are the parents of 7 children and grandparents to 16. Debra began painting temples in 2009. Prior to oil painting, and while raising her children in Pasco, Washington, she held arts and crafts shows in her home, did freelance floral design, refurbished antiques, and studied landscape design.
"Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved making things with my hands. Whether restoring antiques, gardening, arranging flowers, or building a home business selling art and antiques, I’m most myself when creating. I live in Boise, Idaho where I enjoy bicycling, gardening, and spending time with family.
In November 2022 my husband, John, and I left Idaho for an 18 month mission to Johannesburg South Africa. We are serving as area medical advisor and assistant in the Africa South Area. I look forward to picking up the paintbrush again when we return in May 2024. In the meantime, we are having the experience of a lifetime. All the best to you and your family."
