Sunrise for a New Life - I hear a cry like early morning birds - Insistent, hungry - I rub sleepy, dusty eyes - And I go to watch the sunrise - I see pink cheeks blush over the blanket - And I touch peachy hair like wisps of clouds - Delicate, fluffy - Innocent eyes open like light bleeding over the horizon - I am stretching - Further than I thought I could - Radiant, raw - The morning’s yellow glow will fade to blue sky - But as I witness this new life - I feel. Refreshed, hopeful - A new day has begun - My sun is awake.

Lovetta Reyes-Cairo is an artist and mother working from her home studio in Utah. Her work often includes the human figure and explores ideas of motherhood, spirituality, and love.

Many of the items on our site are custom made or built to order, especially framed items. A shipping time requested as "2-Day Priority Mail" refers to the shipment time once the item has shipped and does not include any assembly window. We pride ourselves on our efficient and timely system, but the complexity of an order will impact delivery. Orders to Hawaii may take 3-4 weeks to arrive via USPS.
