The Tree of Life story has been done many times by artists trying to depict people journeying to the tree to find the joy of Christ. Yet, they all depict the same race of people in white robes, somberly looking up at a typical tree. I was given a strong impression a few months ago that there needed to be a depiction of different cultures and people around the Tree, enjoying the fruit. Happy to be there! In their best, colorful clothes, dancing with joy and delight at reaching the fruit! This painting seemed to flow from me and I quickly made it in record time because it seemed to WANT to be made. I love the energy and movement in it as the group expresses their devotion to God .
