It is her firm belief that there is energy and life in all the creations of earth and that there is light filling the earth and all her creations. Trying to capture that energy and light is the challenge she enjoys.
“In my current paintings, I am trying to put focus on some of the most vulnerable and hard-working people on the planet. Living with and working with these beautiful people has changed my thinking and changed who I am and how I see the world and it’s most important issues…. how we treat each other. I’ve come to appreciate their culture, their joy, their colors, and their drive to survive. They work so hard and complain so little. Maybe art and artists can amend history and tell a new story..”
