An original hand-painted watercolor depicting the Savior and a woman. The painting expresses the relationship between Christ and ourselves. He offers to each of us a helping hand, a way back up after we have fallen, a strong arm to grasp when we cannot lift ourselves. This gift was made by His hands as they were pierced to atone for our sins and shortcomings, that we might have a way to get up and try again.
This piece was inspired by a moving message in church during a difficult and confusing time in my life. It is one of the first paintings in my religious collection and holds a special place in my heart and in my home.
