The Horseshoe Nail ring is an historic tale unique to Mormon history. as the pioneers crossed the plains, many of the young men and women fell in love. With nothing to offer but the hope of a new world and a burning faith in the future, the men would offer a horseshoe nail bent into a ring to a hopeful bride to be. This unique look came to be know as a Prairie Diamond. While no longer used as an engagement ring, this now represents a treasured part of our past, a reminder of the sacrifice, and gives a promise for our future.
