Three riders, one in a red riding jacket, ride before Cottonwoods in what appears to be the Bottoms in Idaho. The scene is like a section of a frieze that Minerva painted in her living room in Cokeville, Wyoming. She created what would be a 360-degree view if you took a number of steps out from what have been the front of her homestead. Teichert created this to remind her of life along the Snake River. The frieze, just over a foot tall, lines the top of all four walls next to the ceiling in the living room where she did all her painting.
