In creating “Kingdom Come”, we wanted to capture the deep longing in Jesus' prayer from the book of Matthew, "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." This scene shows Jesus surrounded by a crowd, all looking toward a radiant city in the distance - a vision of heaven breaking through to our world. For us, this piece reflects a hope for transformation: that our lives and communities could mirror the peace, love, and justice of God’s kingdom.
As we created this piece, we thought about the idea of heaven meeting Earth—not just as a distant dream, but as something real and possible when we embrace God’s will in our daily lives. We hope viewers feel invited into this vision, moved to bring light, kindness, and compassion wherever they are. “Kingdom Come” is our way of sharing this hope for a world that feels a little closer to heaven.
